About Us

Dennis Tucker, LCSW, and Julie Jardine-Tucker, LCMHC have intimate knowledge of both the family system and the court system: they have worked with court-mandated clients (domestic violence and substance abuse) and families within the foster care system. Over the years, they have delivered hundreds of evaluations for the court systems. Dennis is nationally certified to perform psychometric testing including personality, trauma, substance abuse, and child abuse inventories.

Dennis & Julia have more than 25+ years of experience working directly with parents, children, and families. They are part of the Association of Family and Conciliation Court (AFCC), which keeps its members up-to-date on the most current custody evaluation practices. Dennis and Julia are AFCC standard informed. Dennis’s membership is listed in the AFCC directory.

We consult specialists in the field and our interviews with Attorney Eric Johnson can be found here. We can also be found on the Utah Custody Evaluators List for Divorce Utah. We approach custody evaluations with a focus on integrity and advocacy: we fight for the benefit and health of the child.

Dennis & Julia work together on every case. As a result, we are able to expedite custody evaluations with a thorough review. All custody evaluations will be receiving the experience of two AFCC members — further limiting gender bias and allowing for advocacy for the child.
